The FOSS4G Asia 2021 Local Organizing Committee (FALOC_2021) is pleased to announce a call for logo designs. We need your help to build a strong recognizable logo for FOSS4G Asia 2021. The conference committee is looking for a new visual identity, design an eye-catching logo from students, practitioners, researchers, and anyone who good at designing a creative, innovative and professional logo. Winners will get a Prize, free registration for the conference, certificate of appreciation, and recognition on the website by displaying the name of the winner.

FOSS4G-Asia 2021 is pleased to announce the call for submission of an Abstract that reflects the theme of the conference. The deadline for the submission of the abstract is the 15th of July 2021. Full paper submissions will be invited for accepted abstracts.

The paper should focus on the application of Free and Open-Source Software for Geospatial considering the era of Artificial Intelligence and IoT. Submitted papers could address the themes listed above,  but they need not be limited to them.

The submitted abstract should be written in English and contain between 800 – 1000 words.  The abstract should contain sufficient but precise information suitable for the evaluation of the paper. The details may include background, aim, concepts, approach, and results, conclusion, and contribution to the scientific arena of FOSS4G, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT.

Workshops are hands-on sessions in which participants have the chance to learn a FOSS4G software related to Artificial Intelligence, and IoT for land in particular and achieving sustainable development goals in general.

The FOSS4G-Asia 2021 is pleased to announce the submission for workshop proposals. Each workshop can last up to a maximum of 4 hours. It can be planned for either physical or online mode. Actual mode will be decided later considering the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the government guidelines.
